The Encina Wastewater Authority’s (EWA) Phase V Expansion Project is scheduled for completion in November 2008. The project includes the first biosolids heat drying facility in San Diego and an upgraded cogeneration plant. A tour of the new facilities will be provided by EWA staff followed by a presentation by General Manger Mike Hogan on EWA’s approach to optimizing the new facilities operations and maximizing its use of renewable resources.
